Pineapple Ginger Sour Ale

Brewed with a classic German yeast strain, a variety of hops from Bavaria, and German malted barley. The result is a beautifully bright, moderately malty beer, with a soft floral hop character, and a clean, flavorful finish.

A liquid monument to the glory of the pumpkin, the most noble of all the gourds, this Imperial Pumpkin Ale is brewed with cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and vanilla to emulate the flavors of a decadent, piquant pumpkin pie. The gourd is good, indeed.

The blend is 100% pure Sauvignon Blanc, crafted from grapes grown in the most notable and warmer regions of California’s coastal hills. Each block contributes a distinct element to the blend, resulting in a layered and complex style. Upon arrival at the winery, the whole clusters underwent a gentle pressing, and the juice underwent a cold settling process for two days. Subsequently, it was racked off the heavy lees into stainless steel tanks, where it underwent a chill fermentation with native yeast – which contributed to the balanced mouthfeel, set against a backdrop of minerality and acidity.

Allagash Four was our first foray into making a Belgian-style quadruple ale, a staple of brewing in the monastic tradition. This special version was aged with lactobacillus and pediococcus and aged in an oak foudre for nine months to add notes of red apple, strawberry, and stone fruit to its signature flavors of raisin and caramel, finishing with a gently sour sweetness.

This wine offers Pinot Noir fans aromas and flavors of very ripe black cherries, blackberries, and plums. Vanilla, butter and spiced oak round out the full-bodied palate. The lingering finish is soft and smooth.

Consistently delicious, the 2015 is full of high-toned red fruit and earthy notes. Bright cherry, kumquat, and a touch of evergreen bring balance and energy to this refreshing Pinot Noir.

Santa Rosa, California

Classic white Bordeaux blend of Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle. Dry and crisp, this wine is mineral driven with notes of stonefruit and tropical fruits like pineapple; you'll notice some floral aromas as well. Bonhoste Blanc is an exceptional aperitif and complement to light dishes and seafood.

Every year, 150 people meet their end beneath a falling coconut, but you’re in luck – this isn’t one of those coconuts. This Death By Coconut is a semi-sweet porter made from loads of our dark chocolate and extra dark caramel malt and packed with fresh coconut flavor. Some might say this beer has been loved to death, but love is just an economy of scarcity. Luckily for you, another batch of DBC has just DROPPED. Pass. Dash. Hit.

Magical natural process beans from the Konga region of Ethiopia lead the way in this intense coffee stout. This rare variety of coffee leads to aromas of sweet roastiness and blueberry pie flavors. Lactose, or milk sugar, is added along with oats for a silky medium body and a lush finish. Red bull and vodka done the long way. For old men, not teenagers.

The gnomes of Fairyland are particularly fond of this golden beer. LA CHOUFFE, with its slight hoppy taste, combining notes of fresh coriander and fruity tones, is the drink which gives them their zest for life. At least, that's what these imps say when they are thirsty. Their secret used to be jealously guarded from one generation to the next until the day they shared the recipe with humans to seal their friendship. Of all the legends from the wonderful region of the Belgian Ardennes, the tale of LA CHOUFFE is the one which most merits re-telling.

Out of the Jurassic Jungle of Juice comes an apex predator with the vicious intent of slaying your palate. Death Raptor Killer IPA’s zesty, citrus fruit aroma lures you into the glassful of sweet, sweet surrender. Flavors of tangerine and grapefruit mingle with the malt backbone of pilsner, oat, and wheat. This IPA appears pleasant, but you may never escape its delicious grip.

Mischief Managed is our series of Berliner-style Weisse beers soured and fermented in French oak Foeders.

Inspired by our famous hand-dipped Cider Mill caramel apples, this dessert-like hard cider has notes of sharp green apple, balanced out with smooth caramel sweetness.

An amber beer style that was developed over 200 years ago to celebrate the original Oktoberfest. The Märzen name comes from “March beer” because it was historically brewed in March to be at peak flavor for the Oktoberfest celebration. Today this style is available year-round in the US due to popular demand.

Gulden Draak has been breathing fire at the Van Steenberge brewery since 1986. This characterful, fiery beer was originally commissioned by the Cruyl brewery in Assenede. At the time, it was a festive beer brewed just once a year for the Assenede fanfare.

Gulden Draak originated when Jozef Van Steenberge received one of his Italian customers back in 1986. The Italian visitor could feel the fire and insisted on buying the beer. At first, Jozef refused because he felt that the beer was too strong, but then he agreed on the condition that an order of 100 hectolitres was placed. At the time, it was a large amount that guaranteed an entire week of production. A beer with character also deserves a bottle with character, a unique white bottle, they decided together.

The name ‘Gulden Draak’ refers to the gilded dragon statue at the top of the Ghent Belfry. Legend has it that the dragon graced the bow of the ship used by Norwegian Sigurd Magnusson on his crusade in 1111. The statue still stands guard on top of the Ghent Belfry today as a symbol for the city's freedom and power.

Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before. This Double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome.

Inspired by the famous Lemon Drop candies we used to eat when, uh, we had our heads in the clouds, Hazed & Blazed complements the subtle lemon flavor of Lemondrop hops with the bold, juicy, intensely fruity character in Mosaic and El Dorado hops. The resulting beer is a deceptively strong New England-style IPA that tastes like fresh lemon cake with a candy drizzle – a sweet treat to satisfy your head.

Black Widow is fruit-forward, yet tart, with a tantalizing complexity, made with blackberries and freshly pressed New York apples.

A good beer takes its time. The long storage makes our yellow bright lager, “Original”, a flavourful beer enjoyed with fine pored, white foam. With a mild hoppy note and its pleasant fresh spicy taste, it goes very well with salads, poultry, stews or with a hearty snack. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Inspired by one of our favorite treats, Dragon’s Milk Reserve: Oatmeal Cookie is carefully aged with cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, raisins, and Madagascar vanilla extract. The familiar flavors of a freshly baked oatmeal cookie make an excellent pair with the rich, warm bourbon notes of our signature barrel-aged stout.

This classic London Fog inspired variant of Lord Grey, our earl grey tea sour ale, has additions of lactose, vanilla, and lavender.

Lord Grey is a limited lacto-fermented sour brewed with Earl Grey tea that uniquely blends the sour ale's tartness with flavor and aroma notes of lavender and bergamot.

Our “East Coast” version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

Medium to light ruby red. A little tight to start on the nose with some cinnamon, red berries, a little floral and a touch savory. Moderate tannins and medium bodied.

Because it is not relegated to a single county or growing region, we are given the opportunity to source from the best Pinot Noir regions throughout the state. From the warmer regions of the Central Coast, to the foggy cool valleys of our Northern Coast, each individual lot promotes the intense berry and spice flavors quintessential to Pinot Noir.

Drift away with this bright, juicy brew and journey to a realm of citrus bliss. Nothing hoppy here – it’s a tropical trip in every sip. Some say this Shangri-la is a myth: an IPA that’s high on refreshment and low on bitterness. But those who know understand. And those who’ve tasted it swear it’s a trip worth taking.

This is the 3rd vintage we’ve stocked from winemaker Andrew Jones. His Wonderwall Pinot Noir offers great value, using fruit from well-placed vineyards along the Pacific Coast. Telltale flavors of red cherry, black tea and cola permeate the palate. Jammy, yet light on its feet, food pairing possibilities are endless. Coq Au Vin or Chicken Marbella would be nice!

A fruit variation on Sour Asylum #4, the second in 3 Tavern's series of lacto-fermented sour ales. Matured on fresh raspberry puree & balanced by a pleasing acidity from the lactobacillus strain added to the kettle, this tart & fruit forward sour is one of our favorites.
